MCCG has won a number of national and state awards for excellence in coastcare regeneration and conservation, including:

• 2003 NSW Weedbuster Award – Highly Commended awarded by the NSW Deptartment of Agriculture
• 2005-06 National Landcare ‘NSW Coastcare Community Award’ awarded by the Australian Government and Landcare Australia
• 2006 National Coastcare Award awarded by the Australian Government and Landcare Australia
